View Full Version : Probably the most pain ive ever been in in my life

i guess a few pieces of metal made it from my calipers to my eyes today

didnt even notice it for a while, but i went to see bo at his house and my eyes got kinda irritated. no big deal. well as time went on it got worse

11 rolls around and i cant even close my eyes, try to go to sleep, but guess what, you have to close you eyes to go to sleep. try rinsing them out with every thing i can think of. shower, sink, dish sprayer thing, nothing works.

pain getting much worse. everytime i blink or close my eyes it feels like knifes shooting through my face.

so i make to decision to go to the hospital and get the shit taken out (mind you i FUCKING hate hostipals, doctors, etc and i cant even remember the last time i voluntarily went to one). there for 2.5 hours, all the fuckers do is look around my eyes and say yup, youve got some stuff in there, give me some eye drops and a phone number for a eye doctor to call in the morning to get the pieces out. evidently the metal pieces started to rust, so the ER doesnt have to skills to remove it. now im sitting at home, cant sleep cause i cant close my eyes without feeling like im gonna die, and i still have this SHIT in my eyes.

this is the most annoying and crippling pain ever, i cant do anything, and worse yet i cant do anything about it. ever minute that passes i get closer to cutting my eyes out just so i can go to sleep




the only plus side is i did get some percs, but right now i really dont even care (for those who know me well, this should tell you how bad this hurts)

Yea dude, same thing happened to me last week. I feel your pain. Its awful. The eye doc will be able to help you out though, mine fixed me up good as new.

What doc are you going to see? Its a long ass ways away but I went to the eye center in Walmart on Thomasville and she had me better in no time. Hope you get that shit fixed man, if ya need anything, holla!

Damn bro, hope everythings gonna be alright. I had to throw my contacts out after grinding my calipers... rust on the eyeballs suck :flipoff2:

as much as i've cut and grinded on my truck i've learned to wear a face shield. its one of the clear plastic full face shields. it has saved me on numerous occasions. especially when the cutoff wheel i was using blew up in my face.

ryan, where did you go. i've got something on my right eye that i can't get off. i know how you feel. this thing is unbearable. i've tried everything i can think of but it won't come off. what sucks is that i got no sleep last night and i have a test today and two tests tomorrow.

Any eye doctor will be able to help you. I went to the Walmart on Thomasville and they were able to work me in very easily. I was there for like 15 minutes total. Damn, it seems like it is the season of broken valve springs and getting shit in your eyes. Its like a freakin virus.

i called the walmart on tennessee but the eye center doesn't open till 9. i really can't take this anymore but i don't have time or a way to get there. i have to study for this freakin test or i'll fail my class. i think i'm gonna email my teacher and if he wants proof he can look at my completely red and bloodshot eye. its to the point that my eye is starting to get a little blurry. i don't want to ruin my eye because of a stupid test.

thanks man. i just got an email from my teacher. he says i'm exempt from the midterm as long as i can get something from the doctor. im gonna go show him how bad my eye is.

theres nothing worse to get in your eyes than pepperspray. my eyes are already very sensitive (poor contact care). but in order to qualify to carry and use pepperspray for navy security you have to be sprayed with it. it hurt so bad. i used to think my threshold for pain was pretty optimal, but that shit dropped me like a bitch. i couldnt hold my eyes open for 45 minutes and thats with a contsant flush of water right there. pepper spray= :3finger:

I hear ya, pepper spray sucks. Im gonna hate the day when you have to be shot to carry a gun in the field :flip2:
