Advance Auto in Monticello

I have been dealing with them since the day they opened and yesterday i bought a part and it was $53 dollars and the same part cost $39 last month , I said did you put that under my phone # he said yeah.
I said where's the discount , He said you Don't get one if you don't spend $150 a week , I bought the part came home grabed some rec's went back and in march I had spent $816.00 on oil,sand paper battery charger, paint and stuff , He said damn ,Let me fix it in the computor.
I said take this Part back and give me my money back,
Called oriley's in madison part was $36

Walmart just recently bought them out. If you want I can get you the amount of money paid.........A person I know, who will remain nameless, is considering an upper management position with them and told me this info. They will also be building a wharehouse in Tallahassee. Maybe it has not been made public or maybe the guy is full of shit.

Being on the inside i can tell you that we have acquired another parts company and that gives us stores in almost every state in the country. With the exception of the New England states. We also own Ozark distribution and Arrow Speed( our own performance warehouse). And just for the record, they are planning on a hub store. Which is a store that stocks merchandise that a regular store doesn't carry. If you would like, I can contact my district manager and get him to verify this for you.

And Ray, it is Avance what do you expect. Stick with O'reillys and Reggie will take care of you,

+1! I always like the O back home, Ill go to them over Advance, Carquest or the Zone any day of the week. Still always shop at Napa first :mrgreen:

I've got parts cheaper at NAPA than the Advance here in Tallahassee
If you can wait a day or two try these guys, they have beat any price I could find local. even with shipping !

Here is another way I look at it. I can't take the part back to the computer and tell the computer its wrong because mine has a tab on the other side. I can't go to the computer and show it the part to match it up because I am not sure what it is called to look it up.

I also did a lil bit of research on their vs Oreilly's part price. They were wrong on the part price. That is false advertising.

O'Reillys is the shit! I wont shop at advance unless I'm buying sandpaper or something...I go to NAPA occasionally, if it's a harder to find part or car paint or something. My $.02
