The standard 5.0-liter V8 is replaced by a hand-built 5.5-liter version that uses a longer piston stroke to increase displacement and a supercharger to force-feed air into the higher-capacity cylinders. One fast Mother Fucker. :joystick:

Not all of it of course but a big reason the Benz wins is because all of it's power is put to the road. You don't see the Benz fishtailing in second. The Cobra would have a better chance if it put more power to the ground. I don't know much about them but I'll be willing to bet that the Benz has a high end computer controlled traction system.
