View Full Version : Damn Fleury

Every Pitt player needs to give Fleury a blowjob after that fucked up win. I've never seen a team get whooped so bad, and win. Pitt had a good 1st, and then 5 straight periods of shit, but got bailed out by a superhuman goalie. I officially hate Pitt now b/c of sleep deprivation.

BTW, apparently it is illegal to touch a goalie. What is this the NBA, Jesus just let them play. Goalies wear more pads than anybody, yet you can't even nudge them in the crease. That's not why detroit lost, just a rant.
I'm off to bed so i can toss and turn and not fall asleep.

Yeah, Marc Andre Fluery is superhuman...he is absofuckinlutely ridiculous. I'm a HUGE wings fan and I thought we had it sewn up in the 3rd. Detroit took almost double the shots Pitt did but god damn Peter Sykora and his calling a goal before the game started. Guess the Wings will have to take it all at the Mellon Center on Wednesday.

Damn, I fell asleep after the first OT. Flueury had the game of his life even letting 3 goals by him. The score should have been like 17-3.

I fell asleep in 3rd OT. I didn't like the outcome to say the least.

I loved it - and it's the Mellon Bank Arena - not Mellon Center.

I say look out, Wings may have skill but the Pens have character (Ryan Malone - a fellow Pittsburgher, my brother in law went to high school with him - with a busted bleeding face still dropping to stop another shot...HOLY SHIT!) and now momentum.

I may eat these words - but I am not posting anything else on this thread until after game 7 (which there will be). It will either be to hoist the cup or congratulate the Wings on a great series.

BTW - goalie interference was put in the league to protect the goalie from some schmuck charging into his crease without the puck. The calls may have been questionable - but the Pens never capitalized off them.

Hockey usually bores the hell out of me but that game made me want to watch the rest of the series. Moronic foul there at the end but Detroit should have put it away long before.

I guess I might have...congratulations. We'll be back next year - not sure I can say the same about the old men. But we'll see...

maybe, i think i jinxed detroit in game 5. Pitt has a lot of good young players, they will be back fo sho. I want Malone and Orpik on Detroit, :)

BTW, that ending scared the shit out of me.

I more thing. I should have known the series would end up this way b/c 1 night before the series started my wife woke up and said "I had a dream that Detroit won 4-2". Maybe she'll have a dream tonight of this weekends lotto numbers.

You do realize people like you have been saying that about the Wings for years now and every year they still come back competing. I hope you also realize that those "old men" out skated and out played a much younger, very talented line up at the MELLON BANK ARENA not to mention winning the President's Trophy.

Yeah - I realize that people have been saying that for years and yes the Wings always compete. But, I was still bitter so I had to think of something to say as weak and untrue as it was. I have calmed down and can fully admit the better team won.

Hopefully the Pens can be the better team next year...I have followed them for almost 25 years now....this one was just soooo close.
