For fucks sake, Andrew, its the same reason you can't dyno for $12.75. You can't compare the market you're used to in Tampa to the market here in Tallahassee. Do we have to go over this every time?

Once it hit $4/lb??? I use to run nitrous on my 88 from ~95-99 and even back then it was $4/lb. The only time I found it for less was at events and it was still $3.50/lb normally.

Hell Vause 4x4 use to charge $40 period, no mater how much was in your bottle.

im just upset..,depressed on the race scene up here. I spent 3 or 4 hours on the dyno Saturday for 75$ and got my bottle filled for 26$. Maybe once the new track is here people will start to actually care about making shit go fast, and prices will drop. BTW tibster if you still want that race i'll be happy to hand you your ass :)

Thats BS man... sometimes i like to just top my shit off. it holds pressure way better than a 1/2 full bottle (as you know). I wish i could afford my own fill station right now.

3 or 4 hours for $75? Damn, I've never heard anywhere be that cheap. What kind of dyno was it? What shop? (I know it was in south fl).

It was fordspeed racing. an older model dynojet outdoors under a tarp. They let Formato tune there on weekends to make extra money b/c none of them work weekends. 1/2 of the time spent on the dyno was just working on the car making my setup work, spending a ton of time on the maps (i ditched the MAF and went speed density).. so i only did about 10-12 pulls. Not sure how they charge but he said 75$, i also was the last car of the day to be tuned there.

Ah, yeah. Fordspeed uses the Dynojet 248. They've been around for a long time.

Until Tallahassee's population begins approaching Tampa's(4 million vs. 330,000) the scene will never be close to the same. Not to mention the plethora of interstate type roads around Tampa that Tally will never have. Tallahassee also has a higher percentage of it's racing-aged people in college with very low disposable income and complete lack of a performance/race shop(PA doesn't count unless you have a briefcase full of unmarked bills).
