I was born and raised here in Tally. I've been into cars since I can remember. When I was in 4-5th grade ('84-85) I got into R/C cars. That is probably what got me interested in cars. I raced R/C cars till 1990 when I got my 1988 Ford Mustang Gt Vert :).

When I first got my 88, I got into the stereo side of it. I ended up with 4 kicker 12's in the trunk. And could hit 131 db in a Vert. Ya, it was a bit loud. Then in 1992, I met a girl who introduced me to Street racing. And that’s when it all went down hill hehe. I took the speakers out, in an attempt to lighten the car :).
Been racing since. Been threw a few different engines and combos.

Me and my ex-wife were really into the street races. I think mainly for her, its cause she loved being the center of attention. And the fact that I've been one of the well known street racers, it rather made a nice place for her to run her mouth. Sorry to all those she pissed off :) Thank fully, we divorced July 2002. And I took my engine back outta her 89 Gt (ya, "her" 89. The one I paid for. anyway). Because of this and her new life style, I think we will all be saved and not have to hear her loud mouth at the races anymore :)

I could write a book with all thats transpired over the years with my cars and local street racin stuff. But I think I will leave it to the above.

Oh, and around aug of 2002 I made these forums, as a place for all the local car people to hang out. And talk to each other. Let others know whats going on around town. And try to get more people talking to each other.

The shortblock in the 88 is a refreshed 89 shortblock. Still all stock parts, just new rings and bearings. I just had it freshened in may of '02. Its broke in tho :)

Used it at GTG '02 for about 6 passes, best being a 11.20@124 with a 1.88 60'. The 89 had a shit converter (2000 max). Just barely better then a stock converter. Ran it at albany after that maybe 5 passes, and removed for use in my 88. And gave the 89 to the X.
