New Best Et And Mph

OHHH YEA i had the coupe at the track yesterday (great lakes dragway) and my new best et 9.4@141 i had a few 9.7s in the right lane but traction was horrible only getting 1.67 60's then on my first run on left lane was a 9.5@140
with a 5.9 1/8th and a 1.57 60 foot,on the second run i bumped timming up a little and ran only a 6.0 in the 1/8th but managed a 9.4 weee heeeeee but here is the bad news errrrrrrrrrrrrrr gld wants me to have a 10 pt cage instead of 4 and i have to get ihra certified in order for me to run 9.5s or under.i will check into that next spring if we are still in WI.remmeber i did these passes with only 10 lbs of boost and 410 gears and a 5spd :headbang:

my mach was loney all weekend the 85 got all the attention but next weekend is the last week for the track before winter so im taking that there hopefully try and rip some low 13's with it

yep cause i only run 10/5 inch m/t's on 600 hp so....but normaly i cut 1.56's and 1.57.s all day but i am going to drag radial class.

i wish i could say "Oh traction sucked so I only ran a 9.7". HELL, I'd love to be able to say that about an 1/8th mile. Thats a VERY fast car man!

my goal is 1.4 60 foots but then im done i dont need to go any faster then i am now i am going to make sure my combo is strong and streetable its amazing that when i got the car it was shoot for the 13s then the 347 with 5 spd droped me to 12-2 then it was shoot for 11s a 75 shot ran me 11-8 then it was shoot for tens then it was 150 shot with slicks that got me 10-7 133 then it was ok go for 9s im there now im done!!!!!!!!!!!!!my new block is fully bullet proof up to 7000 rpm and can take 700 hp
