Well my buddys father-in-law was out of town this week, so he decided to take out his brand new Challenger SRT8 for a ride to dinner. In person, the car looked super sharp. The interior was not as bad as everyone here thinks. It had pretty comfortable seats for a muscle car. The only downside, the car just looked and felt HEAVY.
Now to the good part... driving/racing it. When I dorve it, the car had a solid ride and the exhaust had a nice rumble for being stock. The acceleration felt decent but not any faster than a Mustang/Camaro. My buddy and I returned to my friends house about to go out for a group dinner. I drove my wifes 335 and my buddy drove the Challenger. While driving, we decided to give it a go. From a stop, we were dead even, maybe i was slightly ahead to about 80. It was a good run. I figured with all the HYPE behind this muscle car's re-debut, it would be a street terror. My wifes lil BMW with 125hp less didnt think so. All in all, it was a nice car and got tons of stares from people on the streets, but I felt the performance was slightly lacking.
That white car laid the smack down :taunt:
