My son and brother need to find good places to ride four-wheelers. Any recommendations.

Thanks,

Mark.

Are all of the trails off of Springhill Rd. still open?

The National Forest roads are open to ATVs also.

Access for OHV's is limited to the areas off Springhill road. You'll want to see the access map (http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/florida/local-resources/images/maps/apa/apa%20access05.pdf) so you don't get into trouble. I've just added a NEW FORUM (http://www.florida4x4.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=74) for ohv riders. You should be able to get better/more info there...

chad's land

Thanks for the info, I never thought of that. Problem is that's actually Chad's Mother and Father in law's property. Chad like to fish now more than he likes to ride.

take the killearn bridal trails and cross thomasville and get on maclay road. drive along the side of the road til you hit the power lines on the left side. try not to get stopped by the police on the way. i used to do this almost 2 decades ago when i had my 4 wheeler.

Cross T-ville road on 4wheelers and not get caught? LOL
I do know what you're talking about in terms of the power lines on Maclay.

the sand dunes somewhere in georgia. That's where a guy i work with goes. They race 4 wheelers every weekend. It's near cairo but not sure exactly where it is.

Hey Mark, this is a good place to go, especially for the race quads. http://floridaatv.com/ They also have mud for the utilities too. 10 bucks a day. It's in Madison, not very far. Let me know when and I'll try to make it over there too.

There is a place in Cairo that is state land that you have to have a pass to ride on

then there are the sand dunes in Albany, GA that is where most of the racing four wheelers go.

they just legalized most of the national forest here behind my house. i live out 20 by fort braden. all the #'d roads are legal now so you can ride forever. lots of sand pits and stuff out here too. just go down 20 until you come up to the public library, thats Joe Thomas Road, follow it to the end and it turns into dirt/forest.

there are also a ton of trails right beside the old 14 mile track on 20. i see people riding all the time, they just unload off 20 and the trail head is right there. the track is opened up to ride on also but i don't know if it's legal.

once i rebuild the carb on the YFZ i can't wait to get back out there going for 500ft wheelies...
