It's scary as hell, especially since the decision had been presented way back but Poland was quick to jump onboard after Russia invaded Georgia.

In one hand Russia needs to back the fuck up, but with their Iranians and Chinese buddies, they got a serious posse.

Russia is a force to reckoned with. The leadership is still 'old skool' and many people in power (military AND civilian) are ex-KGB hardasses.

Most wouldn't think twice about pushing the button. And then we piss Russia off good, and then they start backing Cuba, Iran, N Korea.....when will it stop.....

On a serious note: I really don't know what to make of it. Its deff getting worse. I don't see a war happening and if one does it'll include the majority of the EU and we'll have their backs.

This would also fuck us in the Middle East with Russia continuing to export weapons to people that hate us like Syria, Iran and Venzualia and maybe even terrorist. I think the terrorist hate russians just as much as we do though. So I'm not so sure about that.

there was talk about Russia possibly putting weapons on Cuba again... that deff wouldn't happen. Especially with Fedal no longer being in power.

Russian Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn said Friday that Poland's agreement to accept a US missile interceptor base exposes the ex-communist nation to attack, possibly by nuclear weapons, the Interfax news agency reported.

Do you think Russia would actually go nuclear? What would happen? The US could'nt fire back, even though Poland has been guaranteed protection by the US, because then Russia would hit here.

Russia just told NATO to shove it.....that ups the ante even more. I assume that the Geneva Convention goes out the window with the NATO treaty?

Geneva Convention and NATO is still a go on our side. We still have to play fair. Russia continues to destroy the infrastructure of Georgia as they make their "pullout". I'm not impressed with the Russain military thus far...

I'd like to see a squadron of F-22's parked in Europe. Stategically we have Russia surrounded...I'd like to see them make a move.

In my eye's everyone is too affraid to use nuclear weapons... we have enough nukes to nuke this planet 80 times over...it'd be suicide to do so. There was a Chinese General that said the only way to defeat the United States would be by a pre-emtive nuclear strike on the United States... as you can see we are not so much at ends with China right now, ie. The Olympics and what have you.

I keep thinking of shit after I post...

Anyway, yeah I'd like to see another Russian Bear bomber taking a flight over one of our carriers again... somebody might "accidentally" shoot.

Sure, its called nuclear warheads, MOABS. But the US would'nt or CANT do that.. not nuclear anyway. Not to mention the reprocussions of such a move.. oh man, it would be bad.

Yes we do dispite what people may tell you. It wouldn't go into a ground war because of the conflicts in Iraq and Afgahn. Air and Navel power alone would cause serious damage.
