Looks like maybe a plastic glass. But yes, most definitely a spider.

Brainiacs on this board I tell ya!

I caught him last night on my porch making a home. He is in a plastic jar (the kind you can suck the air out).

I let him go in the woods so he can bite me later, but I don't think I've ever seen one like him before.
