View Full Version : Can anyone get me a deal on a dynomax ultra flo x muffler?

I just got back from taking my car down to Miami and it was almost unbearable. Between 2000-2500 rpms the drone was just killing me and since I have a baby on the way I figured this would be a good time to quiet the sound down. Can anyone get a better deal than the ~$140 online...?

what's the ultra flow x muffler like?? if its anything like my dynomax bullets then its loud. check out the spiral flow mufflers--killerSS has em on his car and its way quieter than mine and our exhaust set up is similar. but i know its nothing like the GayTO's

I'm not replacing my spintech mufflers, it's just going where the resonator used to be (before the mufflers that's why I need just one). Right not I have straight pipes and some people have used them to get rid of the resonator and still maintain good flow and sound reduction.

I had an ultraflow on my z28. Longtubes and off road y and it was very quiet, but had a GREAT tone to it.

That's the idea...I'm looking to get headers at christmas so I need to convince the wife that the system will stay quiet...at least for now :)

I wish i had a sound clip of it for you, but my wife can attest that it was very quiet.

SStony, i dont know if you'd remember but this is the muffler i was running the day we swapped wheels.
