INtake backfire cause the head gasket to blow cause if it can i think thats what happened cause the loud pop i heard durin the middle of the run i had in a couple of runs b4 that one too but i think that run just may have done it.....if so i can fix that but how do u get the engine unlocked from somethin like that

I dont know about the intake backfire causing the blown headgasket but if you ran the car long enough with the head gasket blown, you more than likely overheated, bigtime and that could cause a lot of different things to happen anywhere from breaking a rod to warping the crank and locking up the motor. Check the radiator and see how much water you have left. Did you check your temp gauge any? Also, check your oil. Drain it if you can and if it is milky, its blown. You can also check your dipstick but its a little harder to tell. If you boys wanna rip that bitch apart to see what actually happened, go for it, stuff like that is how you learn and to me is fun as shit. Good luck with it man.

Yeah my temp. guage stayed in one spot all day which i dun know if it was broke or not cause mrshalls jumped fuckin big time....but min estayed in one spot but i will drain the oil tonight and see if its milky or not than go form there....But if i find out whats wrong and fix it how do u get the engine unlocked or will it just do it.
