An 84 is the least desirable (IMO) C4 to have and I'd much rather have that than some turd of a Nissan. If the Sentra was 24 years old it would be in a junk yard.

If you want to make the 84 fast, you have tons of options and you'll still probably have less in it than the cost of a frikkin Sentra (unless you bought the 84 new).

Not really. I think most people who have them bought them because they liked them, not because they hoped someone else liked them. I know I bought mine to please me. And if you're buying a 'status' symbol, you're not looking at a mid 80's anything.

yeah. he just came out of nowhere to throw insults...someone responded with smack back, a car challenge insued, more insults, then sauce humbled him with a list of minivans that was faster than that vette, more insults, then he tried to fall back on "my cars a classic and more desirable" to which has since been proven otherwise. this has been a humbling few days for him.

Look man to clarify.. I have never said my car was fast.. I said that this year it became a classic.. My car was the 1st C4 made and also there were a limited amount of them made. Thats why I bought it clearly not for a so called status symbol. But from the corvette gurus mouths this particular car will be worth a pretty penny one day...

I'm just saying that late C3 ('76-'82) and C4s were pretty much a "downturn" (read toads) for the brand. Any Corvette collector will tell you they are cheap and somewhat unwanted except for rare special editions (like ZR1 or GS).

Well, I WAS talking about the C4 ZR1. The new version with a pulley swap would probably be equal or better than the 383/procharger combo I'm working on. :hissy: But I'll have about $90k less into it, so I guess that helps.
