When I checked on Tuesday, there werent any "open track" days that I saw after Wed. I might have just looked wrong. If I was wrong, good, I wanna race a lot this winter.

Gainesville usually holds a few all-day-Saturday races during late Jan & early Feb too. I went Feb 2nd last year.

they will put the times on the boards on the Friday night thing... they wont only if you have NT on your window. I am sure they give timeslips as well. One good thing about it is that there is no wetbox.

Ben(peanut), Chris (my roomate) and I watched the firday night thing back on the 7th. A club was racing that night. There were His and Hers 9 second Mustangs... that was awesome. A guy and his wife (blue and pink mustangs respectively) were goin at it, as well as a big block powered RX-7 and a pretty quick, single turbo i assume, Supra(and by pretty quick i mean fast as hell). But there was a modded Hayabusa that ran a best of like 9.3 and they were posting his times and he got slips.


I am excited about january tho. I'll be all set by then, with me new heads, dyno tune, new springs, and maybe rockers and a more aggressive cam.
Finally got my specs also. int. 204 Dur. .420 gross lift (1.5 rockers) exh. 217 dur. .443 lift. I was considering a Comp Cam (mine is a Melling MTC-1) with some roller rockers and better valve springs.

Dont know why... but I just had a dream about your truck Brandon... with some huge M/T Sportmans and it whined, i think it is a phophecy... it means to HAVE to supercharge it. And i cant do an LT4 cam just yet = ( I dont have roller lifters.

Look and see if LT1 roller lifters would work. People sell their stockers for CHEAP if its just a drop in kinda deal. I have a set that I would give you but with my luck, I need to keep all my stock stuff just in case:lol:

I have to get a roller retrofit kit. All sorts of crazy stuff that I dont understand = ). I am going to hold off on the cam until I get a new shortblock. I figure I might as well wait and get a ZZ4 shortblock later for $2000 rather than convert my 2 bolt main motor to rollers and then have to have it bored and buy new pistons.

Whens the first G-ville test and tune next year? I'm up for that!!

No Im not fuckin kidding you. Its like a $60 night and I have some things that I could use that 60 bucks on that are a little more important than going to the track. Its not that I dont want to go, I just cant. I really, really appreciate the offer Mark but it will just be better for me to wait until next time when I have a CAI and some better tires....oh, and some money.
