Carlton @ Nationwide Tranny. He is doing it at his house. It's a Wolfe Cage with the wolfe through the floor subframe connectors. He isn't finished yet, he is tiein the cage into the front strut towers. And some other things.

Yea, but at least it will be safe.
Hey, Tony, you can tie the top to the rollcage so it does not puff up goin down the track..:taunt:

Nope, just need a few screws to fix that.

Looks good! I was starting to look for cages for mine - the one thing I had decided on was low slung door bars - are they not available for foxes?
Whats up with the bondo on the tunnel?

To be NHRA legal, the bar has to go between the sholder blade and elbow. Can't be low slung.
There is not any bondo on the tunnel, thats the factory sealant/sound deadener.
Added a swing out :)

Like Tony said they aren't NHRA legal, swing out's ARE though. I think up to a certain speed that none of us are at at least.

well there goes the "street" car.....
well there goes the "street" car.....
Not really, still going to be streetable. Those Kirkey seats are actually pretty dang comfortable. The cage is only because you have to have that much cage to legally run 9s. Still running the overdrive transmission.

but what about those races where a street car can't have a cage to be in the "street" class?

Albany is the only place that did that, and of course they are gone.

You will love the swing out, that was by far the best money spent when I had my cage installed.

I'm jealous. I'm wanting to do a big single 6.0lsx based notch for my next project, but lsx foxes are getting way too common. :(

I know what you mean, I can't even spin around in a circle without my dick hitting at least seven or eight LSx powered Mustangs, and at least half of them are notches.
Shut up.
