Lcd Tv Q??

I saw a 27" LCD Westinghouse TV somebody was throwing away in my neighborhood, so I carried it home and took a look at it. I plugged it in and it looks like a spiderweb of colors. Is it a lost cause or fixable?? There is a scratch on the screen where i guess it was hit or dropped and it's the focal point of the spiderweb.

I'm going with lost cause. The LCD panel itself sounds to be broken, and it's the most expensive component to replace. Being a Westinghouse it'll probably be cheaper to replace the set then get a new panel.

Unless you can score a panel cheap...
