ported intake cover. egr and all emissions systems removed some more of my handy work on the outside of the intake. polished front cover belt tensioner supercharger brackets bolts spacers.......ground down and smoothed outside of valve covers. modified factory valve cover baffels so that they actual separate the oil from crank case vapors. hooker super comp 1 5/8 tp 3 inch ceramic coated long tube headers. mac 3 inch pro chamber mid pipe mac 3 inch cat back with stainless rolled tips. -8 fuel feed line -6 return. billet fuel rails aremotive a1000 fuel pressure regulator boost sensitive kenne bell boost a pump with 255lph high pressure pump in a modified stock pump bracket. 55lbs injectors. stock t-45 trans for now. custom cryo treated aluminum drive shaft with spicer 1350 series u joints. reichard racing ultra grip blower pulley modified and rewrapped factory harness. had to move some things for fuel system. diablo chip master revolution chip custom dyno tuned by sam at coastal dyno in tampa. put down 553 rwhp and 460 rwtq on a mustang dyno with 93 octane fuel and 21 degrees total timing. supergharger is only making 13lbs of boost. I need to spin the blower harder, that is why the power drops sharply at 6200 rpm. Running out of air flow. Theres more things ont the cars, I just can't remember then all right now. Likemaximum motorsports camber caster plates aluminum rack bushing urethane front sway bar bushing and soon th be coil overs with tubular race control arms.
The current tune is really conservitave. As you can see from the dyno graph. just as things really start to rock when it runs out of air. The engine is built for 800-900hp at 8000rpm for endurance racing or 1000hp for drag racing. Repulley for 20lbs of boost and some VP 109 race gas and were there. In the better intrest on my stock tranny and not having a intercooler yet is why the low boost for such a built engine. But I hope to change that this fall.
beautiful car man
and im definately game
I am a ex Ford master tech. I'm currently employed at Capital Euro Cars as a Mercedes-Benz master technician. I have been working on Mercedes for about four years now. Work has been done at home and the shop. Just depends on where I was when I felt like tearing things up at. Having access to a very sizeable tool box realy helps to. Engine power output designed and calculated from the start. I came within 20hp of what I calculated when I set out to build this engine. I tuning work and the dyno numbers were obtained using a Mustang Dyno at Coastal Dyno in Tampa. the numbers I posted are rear wheel and this is tonly the first stage of tune up. I will be converting to a eight rib belt setup and air to air intercooler. I will then repullie for the engines designed power output of 19-22 lbs of boost and 850 flywheel hp on 93 octane and 950 to 1000 flywheel hp on VP 109 octane race gas. So was this a garage built car, yes but not a single bolts was turned until all the calculations, design goals, and intended useage was worked out.

no I dont think thats him. The one ryan is talking about, if I remember correctly is not really modded at all. There was a red 96-98 red cobra that I remember seeing in the bay at ford on magnolia when I worked there. I think an older guy drives it, works for the sheriffs dept? I could be wrong, its been a while.

i know the unmodded one. he's a younger guy. he's dating a neighbor of mine. always over, but the g/f just moved. i talked to him a lot. seemed like a nice guy. his dad is FHP or state trooper or something. he's also got a fully built 5.0 on spray he drove over one night. said he used to go up to the meets.

Yea its a white fox right? I know the kid. I was under the impression the red cobra was the fathers. The kid is not the sharped tool in the shed either, I remember seeing him at a few parties when I lived up there.
