As you all know by now, I run the sports programs for one of the local cities over here in Bay County.
Once again, the Lynn Haven Longhorns are making me proud. Last year, they placed 2nd in the World Series as a 9U team.
A few weeks ago they swept the disrict tournament, then the Florida State tournament.
As of yesterday they hadn't allowed a single run. They won all three games 10-0, 14-0, 12-0 respectively.
This mornng they played in the championship game of the World Series and won 12-6.
I'm thrilled they won it and now we can add World Champions to their long list of acheivements.

They also participated in the Challenger League World Series. The Challenger League is for people with developmental handicaps. The invitation went out to EVERY team in the World Series and they were the ONLY team to accept it.
