it depends on what kind of new you want

new faster, new more confortable, new more bling bling . . .

Joey u lil ritch bitch. U don't need to sell ur car. Thats sad when a kid gets a 2000 Z28 when he turns 16 and then the next year just decides he doesn't want it and wants somethin new. Like a kid in town who drives a brand new G35. His dad bought him a Brand New Tahoe when he turned 16 and he decided that he didn't want it and wanted a G35 so his dad goes ok and gos and gets it for him. Fuckin Maclay Kids.

all im looking for is oppinons i love the camaro but i want something different

96s10
11-26-2003, 08:18 PM
why do you want something different?

z28
11-26-2003, 08:23 PM
cause the camaro kindof got old, i like it though, it is quick but it isnt like you can go 100mph down the road all the time and plus it isnt very big room wise

hey chris u live in golden eagle. its joey's decision what he drives. i dont see him goin around bragging about having a nice car and i respect him for that. he also takes really good care of his car and im sure that his parents notice that and know that if they get him something really nice he will take care of it too. He definately has a sweet camaro, but if he wants an escalade thats his decision and nobody should judge him because of that.

pimp cars, my friend has one with a good deal of mods on it, you might have seen it around town, blue car, cf hood, rs4 bumper

bitch hauls ass, handles great, beautiful interior

out of those two id say s4

z28
11-26-2003, 08:38 PM
how expensive would it be to mod one of those i was looking at some on ebay and they have good looking bodykits and stuff but only exhaust and would they be easy to do

his has an intake, mtm exhuast, and a 3 step flipchip (valet, street, race)

other than that you can get downpipes, and then bigger turbos

mods for those cars are pretty expensive though, as are mods for any newer car

S4 would be pimp, but very expensive to modify. I can't be of much help, because I am partial to mustangs and f-bodies, and then trucks. How about one of those new hemi rams...

Man andy just cause i live in golden eagle don't mean shit. U don't have to be fuckin rich to live in there and trust me i aint fuckin rich. And second of all who the hell said anything bout braggin bout it. My point is any 16 year old who gets a 2000 Z28 should be happy with what he gets and not want anything else. And i would respect it more if he was like yeah i want an escalade an ill pat for some of it but just to expect his parents to pay for it is just wrong. Yes he has a sweet camaro and i think he should keep it.

Ok, I am kinda on the fence on this one. On one hand I would be EXSTATIC about having an LS1 Camaro, but at times Ive wanted to ditch my truck too.

Also I know about catching flak about your parents buying stuff for you as well. Its not like Joey here is saying, "Hey Guess what!! I got tired of that gay M3 Mom and Dad got me last week, I'm getting a brand new Mercedes E55 so you can all kiss my ass!!." He is simply saying that the camaro is a little impratical, which is pretty mature, becuase it is true that it doesnt get the best milage, there really is no need to be able to run a 13 second quarter or go 150mph, and being able to comfortably carry more than one other person can also come in handy. I cant believe I just said ANY of that, but it makes since, so lay off the kid.

If he takes good care of the car, doesn't just take it for granted, and deserves it (with good grades and whatnot) then you should be happy for him.

Ok, thats just my take... piece easy!

Im not tryin to piss anyone off or make anyone mad but i mean come on seriously if ur parents bought u a 2000 Z28 and u drove it for awhile and was like i want somethin new ya know. What would yalls parents say. What would they say especially if u said u wanted an escalade or an Audi S4. My dad would tell me to kiss my ass we bought u a car now drive it and be happy. I just don't understand why ya need somethin new/different. Im sorry if i affended u joey but u are ritch and u know it.

He said he' had it for 2 years, I haven't had a car longer than 2 years. And why is it your business how much his car is going to cost, some people are blessed or lucky one of the two. It's not his fault his parents want to give him a nice car.

Bryan02TA
11-28-2003, 04:30 PM
i dunno, i got to Jess' work and it ran fine, we went to leave and it just won't crank. It turns over fine, but it just won't crank up. It's getting spark and i checked for a clogged fuel filter, that's not it. Some dude was telling me that maybe the timing chain broke, i hope that's not it. So the truck is sitting at Keller Williams if anybody want so break in it and steal it somehow...i have insurance.

That's not sayin much ... uhh... oops = ). I am pretty sure a stock Focus could kick my ass right now (and I am gonna test that theory tomorrow night). SOME DAY i might not be quite as slow = ).

As soon as I am runnin' right again (I know I've been sayin that for about 6 months now, long before I got on here, but with any luck my truck is lean and the hip will cure it, if not its time to order some valve springs) I could get into the 15's... and that is a BIG accomplishment for me!!

EDIT

I have to crack on Fords... I think it was in the contract somewhere when i got my truck! Or maybe it is Genetic, my grandfather swears against Ford and all Mopars due to past experiences (Except mustangs, he had a '72 Mach 1 that my mom bakced into a friends car, and a '34 coupe he raced a LONG time ago)

Keller-Williams on Killearn Center Blvd? Our office building is just 1 block down from their office in the 3 story tan and cream colored building. You just never know who's nearby. :) Sorry about the truck, though. I have the 3/4 Yukon XL and do not need another truck :D

With 160k miles on that biatch it very well could be the timing chain. Its not a hard fix...especially now that I have done a chain install 5 times now. Any SES light or anything???

I hated ford's too when i had my Blazer, but then i sold it for the mustang.

oh hey chris my parents wouldnt be paying for anything on this car they bought the first one and they wouldnt touch this one i asked imy dad if I could sell my car he said it is yours do what you want with it so it looks like the money I would like to get from it still wont be enough for an escalade well at least not for the rims you have to put on it cause you dont ride stock. As for myself being 17 years old and being rich come on

lol rich, wow look at the kids at chiles, who else has a 2000 z28 on thier 16 bday? im not saying ur a bad person or anything. Im just sayin that ur lucky as hell. I have to buy my own car, which really sucks. How many people here actually paid for their car themselves?

Wow, moving from a Camaro to an Escalade, thats a pretty big price increase for a high school kid. You all say to leave him alone and it is his money...he can use it however he sees fit. While that is true, just because you can do something doesnt necessarily mean you should do it.
He said his parents wont help him out and thats fine but is having a new Escalade worth wiping out your bank account just because you are tired of the nice car you already have? And if you are 17 and buying an Escalade doesnt wipe your account out then there is a problem here.
I mean I am kinda in the same position where my parents bought my car when i was in high school (now a senior in college), and they still pay for my everything to this day. I had a talk with my dad about me wanting to possibly trade in my car and get another f-body...only M6. The first words out of his mouth were "you're never happy are you?" And I could do that however I'd have to pick up the payments as soon as I graduate. That seems fine but I guess I kind of like the thought of having a no car payments as I start in the real world.
It just seems to me like you should appreciate ANYTHING given to you, and at your age that kind of upgrade is just throwing money away for the hell of it.

well i can say when i was that age my uncle bought me a 1990 5.0 modded mustang but i had to pay for insurance and stuff for it everything after that i have payed for. I see nothing wrong with him sell his camaro since of of his reason is room which owning a trans am i know he has none what so ever and since he has to pay for his new vehicle then what he get is his choice. Good luck selling your car how much are you asking for it and when you get your new ride let us know.
