Anyone have any idea what could be going on with my dad's 2008 BMW 335XI. Problem started with the car starting rough and jerky acceleration, dealer found carbon deposits and replaced fuel injectors. They asked if he used premium fuel which he does every time. A few weeks later check engine light came on again and this time they said the mixture was too lean ran tests, cleared EKPS adaptation values, road tested and no faults. Tonight started engine, rough start, withing seconds engine was running normal, on the way to the Casino , check engine light on again.
The dealer submitted his case for repair direction, they seem to be at a loss as to what the problem is.

deposits of carbon?? tell him he has to floor it every now and then to clear that stuff out. but i'm not saying that's causing his issues.

Need to follow the codes to find the problem. If I were taking a guess in the blue I would say its a bad mass air flow sensor. That can cause it to run lean or rich creating large carbon deposits.

335 uses MAP sensor not MAF. These newer BMW's have ridiculous electronics, the dealer or BMWNA should be able to troubleshoot it fairly quickly.
