i have an '89 mustang, stock ecu, what do i need to get a custom tune?does jaws have it available?how much is it?how much time on the dyno would i need to get things good? ihave this stuff i got from www.moates.net dont know if this can be used with jaws tuning stuff.

F2A Ford Module Programming Adapter
With this adapter, you will be able to use the BURN1 device to read and write your F2 Ford Memory Module directly! No need to remove the chip from the module, this lets you read it through the edgecard connector. See the 'F2E' for more functionality. Bottom image shows the F2A hooked up with an F2 and BURN1.

and

F2E Integrated Ford EEC Computer Reading Interface
If you want to use your BURN1/F2A combo to read the binaries off your stock EEC Computer, then this is the hot item! Allows you to power the EEC Computer on the bench via the USB port through the BURN1/F2A! No external power needed. Might even work in the car, haven't tested that out yet. Lets you read a full 4-bank EEC-V in less than 10 seconds. Item is shown in top picture. Bottom picture shows it in use with an F2A and BURN1 hooked up to a 2-bank EEC-V.

PM GT on here. He ownes Jaws. Dyno time depends on what you want to acomplish and how far out of whack your car is.

You need more then the F2A and F2E to use the Moates setup on a car. Actually F2E is pointless since you can download all the EEC binaries on the net for free.

For a complete moates chip setup you need: the Burn2, the F2A, the F3, and the software. Which totals $155 (not including the software). You are better off getting the Moates Quarterhorse for $249.00. It allows data logging of the fox bodies.

Now I have the Burn2, F2A, and software already. You would just need to get a F3 from Moates for me to tune the car. And for me to tune it would be $400. I would actually use the Quarterhorse I have to tune the car and then dump the tune to your F3 chip.
