Thanks to Tony, Danny, Troy and the rest of the crew for helping me out Saturday. Got me on the right track to getting the car running the right way. Hopefully next time she'll be right and we can get her dynoed.
Long story short. Wrong lenght pushrods, bent pushrod, crank hitting windage tray, crushed rear main seal, front timing cover bolts in rear timing cover and vise versa, front bolts longer then rear and bottomed out in block. good shit
Thanks D and E Engine service.
MICKEY, couldn't have done all this without you. and all i got out of Mickey was sorry man. looks like i'm going to be going to court.
Good news out of all this is the pistons didnt hit the valves. dodged a bullet there.
So if you want someone to overcharge you the price he gave you and totally screw up you motor Mickey is ya man...

Holy shit man... Obviously I knew about the pushrods since I was there. I didn't know about the rear main and the wrong bolts etc... Sorry to hear that. You need to document EVERY BIT of this. LOTS of pictures.

Jesus... what was SUPPOSED to be done to it? Some of those things are hard to fuck up, like, they're obvious.

What a crock of shit. I'd document as much as possible and lawyer up. May not be worth it, but it would be worth making sure nobody else goes to that hack. Those are mistakes made by a person who doesn't know what they're doing, or just doesn't care.

yeah i think he just don't give a shit. plan on a civil case. doubt i'll get anything but it's the principle. the part that pisses me off the most is he just says sorry but i'm not going to do nothing about it.

The mistakes made on this engine are even more obvious than what was done to ours, or mine at least.
By saying sorry he's admitted fault. It would be awesome if you had documentation of that...
I'm so tired of hearing about absolute crap motorsport shops/work. So few places even care.
Ron was telling me about the car and the troubles you were having with the car and then now this. Sounds like your gonna have a nice GTO when all resolved.

sorry your getting screwed, but based on the physical appearance of D&E I can not see why you would send them a $33k car. There is a reason their shop is a dilapidated and crapped out one.

Hum, it might be the place that's right around the corner from the entrance to my neighborhood, now that I think about it.
