I got Kelly a gift card for Express. Quick, easy and even has meaning to show I pay attention, she recently cut up her Express credit card. At least that's what I'll tell her.

there's a day spa in town that's really nice called MEENA'S on thomasville road by betton place. cheap package is somewhere around $100. :-o
Theres a couple day spa's in town. Me and Debbie got a small package for my mom. Think it was the facial deal for like $65. Can't remeber the name of it tho, I have it at the house.

Go ahead pendrgn, post what you got your gf for xmas, I'll close my eyes. As for the rest of you jokers... I don't care if you're morally opposed to it or not, buy her jewelry, chances are that's what she wants. And as far as a spa Gift Certificate, it's a good idea, but make sure if you get that you cover the massage and the tip... if she goes to get her massage or whatever it is and has to leave a tip she'll likely be a little pissed. Girls are easier to shop for than they seem... just make sure it doesn't belong in the garage and you'll be fine. ;) (Unless of course she's a motorhead, in which case you better get her jewelry and a car part, just to cover your bases.)

"im not smart or caring enough to actually spend time thinking about you or what you want, so i got you this piece of paper so you can waste your gas and time and figure it out for yourself."

Ok, here I am to help. A lot of girls are different so it's hard to really generalize it, for example I went with bo to buy jen a birthday present and what she wanted was completely different from what I would ever want, he got here a dvd, Pirates of the Caribbean. Anyways, I'll just tell you what I would want, it's a long list but it's some good ideas I think...
1. Victoria secret has a lot of cute things in the perfume department, like this blush brushes with glitter in them, love that! $30
2. A gift certificate to Victoria secret... A++++
3. Music's good, a c.d. or something or as a stocking stuffer make her a c.d. of all her fav songs.
4. The spa idea is an excellent one, if she like manicure and pedicures you can just get that and Bernice at Betton is the best place in town. $50
5. A pair of earrings are nice and not that expensive, you can get a nice pair from Kay's for under $50.
6. There is a place in the mall called Things Remembered, you can get her a picture frame with both of your names engraved on it and get a cute pic of the both of you. Or they can engrave a charm bracelet, the good thing about a charm bracelet is it's a gift that never stops giving. Every birthday or christmas you can get her a little charm. They also have little ornaments for the tree that you can get engraved, for a cute stocking stuffer.
Ok, I'll keep thinking.

Jens B-day was yesterday and X-mas coming up soon.....lots of cash on gifts for her. I dont really know what Im gonna get her for x-mas but I doubt gift certificates are on the list. The spa idea sounds great, thats what I got her last year too. Ryan, I think you should just drop the cash and get her the massage...you know she'll love it.

i would but i dont have the cash
jen's bday was the 2nd, thats kinda weird
brandboZ28
12-03-2003, 08:06 PM
I hear ya about the cash thing. Something else to think about is that there is a massage school somewhere here in town and I have heard that people get cheap massages from there since the masouse(sp) isnt finished with his/her training. I know this is an extremly cheap gift but its better than nothing if that is the route you want to go. If she is anything like Jen, she already has about 45 bottles of all different scents of lotion but if not, you could always buy her a gift basket from Bed, Bath, and Beyond or something like that.

The other option that cost $0 (ok well, printer paper and ink), is to make like a cupon/gift certificate book with all the things that you "dont want to do" Things like clean the kitchen, give her a massage, rub her feet watever....you know the stuff that gets you laid :headbang:
brandboZ28
12-03-2003, 08:50 PM
You guys know your girls. Think of something that only you know she likes and that makes it even more special which I know Jen would rather have than me just buying her jewelry or something like that. Exmaple, I know Jen loves to paint but would never go out of her way to buy nice supplies so I think Im gonna buy some for her, just something small like that is what Jen likes. Also, I take Jen to the mall to eat or see a movie and walk around the mall and we stop in some of store and I just take notes of what she looks at.

Good women, the kind that you marry, appreciate gifts that demonstrate your thoughtfulness. Gifts that show that you actually listen to them and know them well enough to buy them something that they would really value. Most of the time these gifts aren't as expensive but do require effort on your part to come up with. It's this effort that good women appreciate most.
Off course if that doesn't work. Just buy em diamonds, you can't go wrong with diamond jewelry.

Follow that link. It's a spa gift basket for under $50 so you get the kudos for the spa idea and it's cheap. Throw in a couple of free little coupons and promise her a day of rest, relaxation and therapy and you'll have it made through the xmas season. That website has a lot of great gift ideas that girls just eat up. Also, I agree with Jess on the Things Remembered idea... Girls are suckers for that shit.

Never fuck with a man who can put up with a woman as long as he has and still give a shit. He obviously has the skills to choose a woman he likes and one that is worth working to keep. Sounds to me like he knows what he's doing.
