Anyone know the kid who drives the orange GTO that seems to be pretty fast. I stopped to talk to him for a minute and he said he hoped it would run 9's What the hell is done to that thing. Looked and sounded good!

Very shady guy and he has a bad rap on ls1gto for ripping this dude off some wheels. He did eventually make it right I think it took like a whole year or something for him to finally return the wheels he and the other guy agreed to. Said it had to do with the hardest year of his life...

I've seen this car around too, the color looked to be "Tangerine Dream". I waved at the driver in the Publix parking lot. Seeing as how I was loading RockBand2 into the trunk of my car, he probably thought I was a homo. But, whatever. His car looks killer, didn't hear it WOT. I guess the hardest part of the year was actually having to mail the wheels back.

well here i am guys, thanks for all the kind comments on the car, it has been quite tthe ordeal and a waste of my life for 11 months, i dont even want to start about xtreme motorsports but it hasnt been all that pleasent, anyway i want to appolgize to all the guys on here for being such an immature douchebag when i moved here a few years ago. I honestly have had to make alot of changes in my life, and lost two members of my immediate family in the last two years and had to grow up fast. I Really would like to hangout with you guys again, you would be able to see im not that prick anymore. As to the situation on ls1gto, it was a shitty situation that shouldnt have happened and i screwed up, i made it right though and kept my word to the seller. thanks guys, No i didnt im trying to get my rear end built and done in time for the mustang vs. gto shootout. and it looks like im gonna need a new 1-2 and 3-4 shift fork and syncro's but that shouldnt be too bad to get, just a pain in the ass to pull the tranny in this car.

awesome goat looks and sounds like you got 1 bad ass car was in gainesville on 12-7-09 there was a guy from jax with a yellow 05 gto that was spraying 150 shot i think . I WATCHED him run several 10.60s He even drove it there and back .

Big props to you sir for stepping up like this. That does show alot. If it was you that I was referring to, I was leaving the timbers making a left to head towards Tennessee St and the GTO crossed in front of me before I could turn....once I did, I floored it and came up hard and was in the turn lane to go left with the GTO next to me. If that sounds familar then that was you and I.

If that doesn't, then no worries...it was someone else. As for anything else everyone is referring to, I have no clue to what that is.

Sorry about your hard times, but it sounds like you have lived and learned...which is always the best. If I see your out an and about and I see you or vice versa...I'd like to see that GTO up close and personal.

Oh it is was a handful when I had 535lbs to the rear wheel on the stock block at 4000rpm....with this new setup I hit 600lbs of torque to the wheel at 2350 rpm and she is at 640 by 3200 and maintains 645-665 all the way through 6500 rpm, I can blow the tires off no problem...expecially sitting on 22's.

I can keep her straight...well as straight as I can that is...I have a good amount of seat time in drift cars, street circuit cars, and street monsters so I am no sloucher.

I have my drop shackles, 1000lb coils, bilsteins, lakewood slappers, A/R bajas slicks n skinny's at the house right now. Gonna be ordering my camber bolts, clunk washers, and shock extenders here shortly (once my next paycheck hits) so I can get the suspension where I want it to be, as the stock sucks and I don't trust it at higher speeds and that much power.

Then she should be no problem keeping it straight.
