OK, now I can release the info. I just had to get all the details worked out. At this year's TGW Reunion at Puddin Creek, we're going to have some "TGW Highlight Reel Freestyle"! Here's how it will go:
At High Noon, we will have the luxurious TGW minivan parked in the lower Bounty Hole Area. We will have assembled judges, made score sheets, loaded coolers, etc. Yours Truly will MC the fun along with the Boys from Wakulla Off Road who will be making it all happen. There will be some hills, mud holes, etc. We don't care who is fastest, biggest, baddest, most expensive, etc., we want to see who is most entertaining! This is your chance to steal the show and get famous! Puddin Creek will pay out $1000.00 3 holes deep based on judge scores and crowd response. TGW is putting up another $250 for the best wheelie of the day. There will also be more prizes for the guys.
I have no idea how many trucks will try this, but I can guarantee it's going to be fun. Runs will be timed so that we can keep things moving, and the whole event shouldn't take too long. I am very excited about this, it's going to be such a cool addition to this already massive weekend. Big, small, 2.5 ton, 5 ton, etc. can all enter, but we can only take so many as we're not going to do this all day. The best bet would be to get with Spencer or myself before 10:00am on Saturday morning so we can get you in the deal.
Mud Slingin', Jumping, Wheelies, Donuts, whatever, bring it down and show it off! Keep in mind, this event is all having about fun and showing off. The only rule is to be safe! If you're going to take it too seriously and start drama, please don't enter, just watch.
I think this will be very cool, we just have to get some guys to do it!
