How much would it run for an Air-Fuel-Timing tune, I have a carbed small block ford.

jet change, timing, pulls, time etc. also can't forget the $100k machine it's done on, along with the $190 o2 sensor that wears out.

Yeah - I hear ya - I knew you had all that overhead but just thought it would be somewhere in the $100-$120 range. But, it is what it is - you know what it takes to cover your expense.

It's $100/hr for dyno time when someone is tuning thier own car (or have someone tune it). If we do the tuning it's $200/hr. I don't personally do the carb tunes, I have someone that does that part. I stick with EFI :)

With no competition in town, he can charge what he wants.

thats not a bad price. panhandle performance wants like 600 bucks for a dyno tune.

Tony,

How do you a tune a carb'd set up if it has no exhaust bungs for O2 sensors?

the wideband setup he uses puts a sample tube up the exhaust pipe to sample the exhaust. no bung needed, you can have turn downs or full rear exit exhaust and it'll work
