basically the law says that companies must offfer to fix a significant problem, however, they do not have to announce asthetic recalls, only safety or mechanical. So ford can do it silently (its a money thing)

Yea thanks, I first heard about it on the mach1 registry. Haven't had problems with my shaker yet.

but for loyal customers of special edition vehicles, they should be a little more open... for the fans... IMO
