hot rod power tour 2010

so i got wind that HR magazine power tour was making its last stop for this years cruise in mobile, AL and i decided to go there for the day. it is actually a 2 day event there with the last day(today) being the long haulers award ceremony at the navyt ships. i only went yesterday to check it out and all in all it was good but attendance was a little low and it was a hot hot day. i've already heard that todays attendance was much better since it was a weekend day but i ended up just coming back home last night since hotel rooms at the beach were crazy expensive. Oh and i'm pretty sure i saw large deposits of oil in the bays around alabama.
here's some pics. i was expecting a lot more newer hot rods to be out there but i may have missed them at todays event.
friday was in the historic downtown of mobile. i wasn't exactly sure where but we saw it from I-10. luckily i found a nice close place to park

i'm gonna plan on attending next year's cruise and hopefully it cruises back into FL but i imagine it'll go north east.

That Lincoln is pretty bad ass, and big props for the shot of the griswold-mobile.

the lincoln was the jaw dropper for me. manual trans, fenders were wider, baller ass i forged wheels and the engine was as cool as it gets.

did you see where that red Z06 was from? there is a guy in indy weve been running with who has a car exactly like that (stickers and paint and shit), and is cammed and quite loud.

dont they normally announce the next years route within a short time after the finish of the current year? i hope they make their way east and head back to south fla or up the atlantic coast. someone posted on tech they made an announcement it'll end in detroit next year.
