Took a test drive last week at Tally Ford. It was a black on tan GT Deluxe/Premium whatever it was. Has the Brembo upgrade and 6spd. I'll do a pro and con, but remember the last Mustang I drove was my 97 Cobra a couple of years ago.

Pros:
Looks-one of the best looking cars on the road, period. Absolutely love it in every way.

Sound- Ford hit a home run with the sound. Inside the cabin it just sounds mean but not overbearing.

Steering - Love the way it feels at speed. Nice heft to it without feeling like a manual steering car.

Brakes - didnt get to test them much, but they definitely had a nice bite to them. Nice pedal feel as well.

Transmission - precise, direct, and very, very short gear box. Almost went into 4th a couple of times instead of 2nd. One of the most impressive things about the car.

Cons:
Size - I felt like I was in my wife's '07 525i. It just seemed huge. Part of it is the bulged hood, part is just that its a large car. Its length is 188.1in and my wifes 525 is 190in. Compared to my old 90 5.0 LX that was 179in and my 944t that is 170in, its a large car. Plus the seating position feels very high.

Disconnected- not sure how to describe this, but I just felt sort of disconnected from the whole driving experience. I know the car is fast. I watched the tach and speedo. But it just didn't feel fast. I didn't feel like I was going 70.

I have to remember that the last 2 cars I owned were an 03 BoxsterS and my current DD 944 turbo. Small, direct, precise. And the turbo feels a crap load faster even though its not, partly because of the rush of the turbo lag and part because the car is so much lighter.

I don't think I want on myself, but I think I sold my father-in-law on one. He drove it as well and loved it. He's ordering a Grabber blue 6spd this week.

It's a fantastic car at the pricepoint, no doubt. Nothing out there even comes close.
