This is the fourth time in six months that I've changed catbacks. Took off the Bassani (it's Bryant's and he has a seller) and put on the stock 03 Cobra catback that I picked up.

Car is now quieter than a caterpiller taking a shit. Damn.

I'll probably end up piecing together the custom side exhaust I've been wanting to do. Flowmasters with mandrel-bent U turns, then 90* bends going out the side with Borla tips.

Notice any power difference?

if you still have the stock IRS, id get that FR500 cat back...its that dual exhaust (has the x for the crossover, then another x in the back.). supposed to make nice power. expensive though

Well, it doesn't SOUND as fast, but it feels about the same. I'm sure that choking the exhaust down like I am isn't helping power any, but I don't know. Of course, half of nothing is still nothing so, yeah I still don't go fast.

I've been looking at what's out there and I'd forgotten about that system. I'll look at it.

I didn't replace the plug wires yet. Gonna see if I can get a new set of MSD wires for Christmas. Gonna upgrade the coil packs in January.

I can't run dumps since I've got the IRS. Dumps would be added heat right into the differential. The carrier gets hot just from daily driving. Guys that race with them have to get a diff cooler setup to make them live. I'm eventually going to fab one up using a tranny cooler mounted behind the fuel tank.
