my name is kenny I have lived here in tallahassee for six years been out to the meets in my truck i had a
92 nissan bagged up front and a 01tacoma slammed bit i recently had alot of problems with the nissan and traded it fpr a 81 z28 in pretty good shape i am havin some issies with it any help would be great

The problem im having is that it runs for a little bit then just shuts off like i turned the key off but i am still gettin power to the coil just no spark, after a few minutes it will start up again and die soon after i have replaced the coil the distributor cap and rotor what else could it be

how long does it run before it shuts off

5 to ten seconds im thinkin its the ignition module i just am not sure and dont have the money go buy a bunch of parts tryin to fix it

have you look at the carb any

Y would the carb cause me to not have sprark

I think the module is most likely your problem.

i miss the spark problem im so use to mine being carb i had it on the brain

Thanks guys i searched pick and pull today for a module and no luck some got every last one i an also lookin for some tires if anyones got some layin around one of the fronts is badly dryrotted and seperating
