.........mine was about $500 cash and 3 credit cards, til whoever found it last night decided to go on a shopping spree last night and today. just got off the phone with all 3 cc's and the sherriff and i am responsible for no charges but the sonuvabitches who did it rang up a hefty $2300 just today(noon) through 10pm tonight

5 gas stations, wal mart 7 times, albertsons 4 times, and 3 resturaunts.

keep a close eye on yer wallet this holiday season guys....and gals. "it can happen to you"

dude tht sucks royally. i hate thieves. if it were my wallet, there would have only been $20 and 2 cards really close to the limit. i hope nothing else ruins your holidays.

usually i dont carry that much cash on me, but i was gonna pay some bills with it the next morning and really didnt think it was important to deposit it and then have toi wait to pay bills.....so yeah im out the $500.

i do need to know if any of you guys or gals happened to stroll by sonic about 9:30-10pm tuesday night. first charge was @ a GATE station @ 10:02pm. i left sonic around 9:30 that night, then they went to Circle K @ 10:40 and then albertsons @ 11:35pm, and the next day they started their shopping around noon.

as for how they got it....only explaination was it fell out of a pocket somehow. i went by sonic yesterday and asked if anyone found a wallet...to a bunch of "blank" stares like they didnt see anything, yet the waitress said she cleaned the lot and didnt see anything. im gonna beat the shit outta somebody.

mine was stolen w/ 50 cash and a debit card and the pin number but the stupid fucks could not figure out (i guess) that the card that said pin number would help them get my money. i got my cash back by fileing a claim throught home-owners insurance. i think they have the same thing on some renter's insurance plans

Yeah I was going to say go through home-owners insurance if you have it. It will cover up to $200 cash....Funny how I know that now but couldnt for the life of me get it right on the test!
