My 2004 escape with the 3.0 V6 use to get about 310 miles per tank for in city. When gas was change over it drop to about 270-280. Now within the last mouth it dropped down to 230. I did a complete tune up and fuel filter replacement. I got one tank to get 265 then it dropped again. Had it scanned sensors are fine and i have good pressure. I have run out of ideas on this hoping someone has an idea. It runs great which im worried i have to take it down south but with this crappy gas milage there no way.
Things replace
All water hoses due to leak.
Plugs
Oil Change
Fuel filter
Intake gaskets

Not that we can fine
I've noticed the fusions mileage dropping some. I know they approved 15% ethanol but didn't think it was in use yet. That would explian it though.

You cannot put non eth in. You have to find a station and put it in gas cans. There is a station in Woodville.

The Golden Falcon in Quincy has 89 non E at the pump, for marine use is what the sign says.

It has been approved but it's only meant for something like 07+ vehicles. I think what they are going to try and do is put in a separate pump for E15 at stations if they wish it.

Well i have discovered that i have a vacuum leak somewhere just cant find it but can hear it. Even though the computer doesnt show any effect from it i still wonder if this might be the issue.

Yes that can be the issue. All you have to do is bring me the truck and I can smoke test it for you.

Brilliant fucking plan - keep those gas prices going up AND force us to use gas that gives us worse mileage. Pricks.
@ GT - I don't know much about how this corn affects things but does/should anything have to be done tune-wise if we have to use 15 ?
