New user with 03 Cobra

I just recently heard about this site and thought it would be cool to hang out with the local muscle car crowd. I have a humble 03 Silver Cobra with no mods but a K&N filter. I have big plans for the car, but have decided to wait at least to 35K miles for the warranty to run out. Until then, I am going to put better tires on, CAI, Stinger Catbacks and maybe a Pro5.0. That should get me into the 420rwhp or so range. Once I get closer to the warranties end I'll change out the pulleys and get a real tune. That should get me higher in the 400s. At that point I'll probably give myself time to adjust. This is a daily driver, so I don't want to get insane.

Once the HP bug bites after that I'll probably replace the stock Eaton SC with a Procharger.

In the mean time I hope to make some of the get togethers and meet everyone.

welcome--the new cobra's are really nice--is it a vert? thought about jumping in one for the boost but i can't afford the payments. i'll just save and hopefully throw some boost on the LS1.

The car makes a lot of low end power as is. The KB unit seems like it'll just make 1,2 and parts of 3rd useless from spin. The Procharger would make more overall power and give me the ability to hook up early. Nothings set in stone yet. The KB is the only proven power adder so far, as the Procharger and Whipple are still be tested.

Not the 40th. AAF only got one and they price gouged it, so I passed and got the regular 03.

I live near Target, so you'll see me in that area a lot.
