Evo From A Roll

comin back from the sonics last nite, i got to run a lancer evo from 50 to 100 on the north side of town. all i heard was turbo lag then i was gone and steady pullin til we hit traffic. it was blue with no badges on it. if any of you know him, ask him how the ass end of my car looked.

it wasnt a evo then cause he would have walked you up to about 75 mph camaro's dont hook im sure it was a oz not a evo i just sold mine and ran 13-2 bone fucking stock k&n and more boost took me into the deep 12s

its kinda hard to mistake an OZ for an Evo. And he ran from 50, so im sure the Camaro didnt have any traction problems. From a dead stop I would probably give it to the Evo cause he can just dump it from wherever he damn well pleases and hook and go. But from 50 he's gotta build boost and he doesnt gain anything from the AWD.

they dont have any lag problems pretty responsive still those 2 cars are good run car for car i dont think he would walk him that bad.in the quarter with both drivers knowing what there doing the camaro by a car at the most

well i watched this guy grip and go from several lights and it sure seemed to be awd--it had a big wing on it, was definitely turboed and had the evo rims on it. if it wasn't an evo, than the guy sure went out of his way to make it like one, which wouldn't suprise me seeing what som stupid ricers do these days. when i finally got up to it with enough room to run, we did and i fucking worked him with a passenger with me.

good kill on the Evo, I remember that blue one was the first sold in Tallahassee. a Lancer OZ would isnt worth modding to look and run like an Evo, so you ran the AWD alright.

naah, but i was there drooling over it when it first showed up there. that blue color is one of my favorites. the car's got full intake and exhaust, boost controller, fuel pump, ACT clutch, and a couple other things...i'll be up at Schlotsky's tonight, if you're gonna be there , come on over and take a look at it. the et kinda sucks, i was pullin 2.5 60' times. the high mph shows i have lots of improving in the way of traction. i might go to an 1/8 mile track tomorrow night in Albany to work on it, we'll see.

From what I have seen, most turbo AWD drivers think they are unbeatable because they have the best of both worlds. Im pretty sure I raced the same car as SSEEYA a while back and I beat him to but the driver was cool. We went 3 or 4 times and I beat him everytime but I got a thumbs up each time, thats why I said most of them.

Im not trying to be a dick, just dont be so quick to call BS because while you do know your shit, you dont know everything, especially about things thats that happen when you didnt see.

13.2, but at what MPH? I'd put my money on the SS having a higher trap speed by a pretty good margin. AWD is gonna get you outa' the hole the best but after that it becomes a detriment.

Anyone with a relatively quick car due to AWD should know better than to run from a roll with a traction limited car that runs similar ET's, especially from 50MPH. Roll (gooney-bird) racing is all about MPH.
