Hey Fellas,
Glad to be a member of the board. I didn't know this board exsisted so close to home until now.
I look forward to making new friends and meeting new people while asking for help or trying to help someone.
I've read that they have finally completed the new track in Valdosta (Cecil).
If I can get away from the wife, I'd love to go.

Thanks,

Tim

It's a '96 SS with about 67K miles on it. I've got a GMMG exhaust on it now with some SLP headers. It sound pretty good, but like I said, I need more mods.

Wow,
thanks for showing a fbody brethern a little love :)

The car is Red and I just found out from my wife that we have prior engagements Saturday night. I work the evening shift on my job, so I can't make it Friday. My wife works days, so when the weekend comes, Hell I'm lucky to get out of the house, LOL. But I am "cleared" for Sunday afternoon to do whatever. Not to mention we have a little 16 month old girl (ruler of the household)
You guys may laugh at me because I can't get out of the house, but let me tell you.....If mama ain't happy, Ain't NOBODY happy. ;)

Take Care,

-Tim

Except for the kid part, I know what you mean. Don't sweat it man, just about everynight there is a meet except for Sunday, you should be able to make it to one of them.

Oh yeah and welcome to the boards. :joystick:

Welcome man!! How about next weekend? Think you can give some prior notice and maybe bribe her with some jewelry and get to come out to the track ? I think a couple people are planning on going up there then, and I might try and figure out what is wrong with my truck if I can get a timing light (I'm gonna be doin' some Autozone loan-a-tool this week too).

Glad to see more Chevy's. Hows the F-body to "Them Damn Fords" ratio shapin' up?

Hey,
If nothing comes up, Myself and a few other fellas around town are going to the 1/8th mile track in Albany this coming Sunday.
Gates open at 12:30 PM. Test-N-Tune starts from 1pm-5pm.
Since the new track in Cecil will be closed, I figured I'd go the the one in Albany. Its not the 1/4th, but its something to do until I can get to the one in Cecil. She already got me on lockdown next weekend
I may see some of you there in Albany

LOL,
I'm BUSTED. Good detective work. I don't know if this will leave a sour tast in anyone's mouth, but I wasn't trying to scam anyone.
Just feeling out new people whom I've never met just as new people are feeling out me. I don't race on the streets of Tallaho because I don't know who is an undercover cop and the penalties for any tpye of speed violations are unreal. I know for a fact that there are some cars in Tallahasse both American made and Foreign made that will WAX MY @$$. I give props to ALL fast cars as long as the owner/driver isn't being an @$$ or D!Ckhead. Yes, I do talk smack within reason and ONLY in fun. IF I see where the other party/parties are getting a little "hot under the collar", I stop all trash talking and call it a day. I'm just an easy going guy who likes fast cars.
I'm shooting for that magical 400 rwhp mark, but I'll take 385-390 RWHP and be very happy. There is more in the car, but I have a high RPM miss that I'm trying to sort out.
Take Care fellas and I hope my name isn't mud on this board because I do need some new friends. I drink lots of beer and whisky. Oh yea, I'm OK in pool too.

Tim AKA "Showme"
P.S. I had no intentions of "hustling" anyone. Showme is my screename that I use everywhere. I gotta ask...How do you get one sig from another board to come over to this board  That's cool. :tu:

brandboZ28
04-22-2004, 10:14 AM
Haha Tim, I wasnt trying to get you in trouble with everyone. I just saw your name over there on CZ28.com and thought that I would hold you to it. Those mods/numbers are nothing to hide, especially around this board. As for getting the sig from over there to over here, I just copy and pasted it here in a quote. You should come out to some of the meets if you can sneak out of the house. I would really like to see your car, its sounds pretty mean.:tu:

That's a sigh of Relief :D
I thought for a minute after I seen the post that my name would be "Mud" for sure.
My wife is Mad with me at the moment for some stuff I had ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER, so Saturday afternoon would be the best time for me to get the hell outta dodge.
Let me know something...

I dont know that anything is going on Saturday but we'll see what happens. Do you live in Tally? I saw on CZ28.com that youre from Atlanta. Im from up that way too.

Showme
04-23-2004, 02:20 AM
Brandbo,
I'm not from Atlanta. I live about 40min North of tallaho depending on how fast you drive. When I joined the other board, I was an internet/cz28 virgin, LOL.
I wanted to keep the locals from knowing {315rwhp/345rwtq at that time} what I had.
Now that I'm older, I really don't care who knows what under the hood, even though I don't go out broadcasting it. If you live in a small town, people will eventually find out. I think its an honor to be able to mod your car a little for you own personal satisfaction. No matter how fast you are, sooner or later, you'll meet up with someone who is faster.
Sorry I got out in left field--This Barcardi Rum & tropical blend sprite has me ringin'. I live in Thomasville, Ga.

Hey man,
Welcome to the board even though I'm a newbie myself.
I was passing through Tallahasse going to the Blue Crab Fest. in Panacea, and I noticed this Orange Colored SS. It was sweet :tu: Was that you? I wasn't in my car, I was in the "family" car.
We'll have to meet sometimes as well as the others on this board. I'll hopefully get a chance to make it to one of the "meets" so that I can put a face/car with a boardname.
