View Full Version : Hooters on Monday
Just got this email:
Hello fellow Hooterstangs,
This is your friendly Monthly reminder for the MUSTANG F/X Monday Night Mustangs at HOOTERS. This Event is extra special. This Event marks the One Year Anniversary. Now for the other news.....
The MUSTANG F/X Monday Night Mustangs at HOOTERS Monthly Events will continue, but this Anniversary Event will be the last of the Trophies to be awarded. I hope that you will not let that discourage from attending. These Events have grown each month and I want to thank you all for making it a success. I hope to see you all there this Monday (June 2). Be sure to mention this Event to other Mustangers.

might go, gotta work monday so well see what happens
we need to stop going to this thing, and have our own thing. I mean his event would be nothing without TMCA. And I think everyone wanted a once a month like that for our club.

I am game for something like that, although I am no help on a location.
This is the PERFECT opportunity. He is not going to award a trophy each month... why don't we start? Trophies are cheap, and it's a proven fact that people go apeshit over a little piece of faux-marble and gold-painted plastic. If we start giving out trophies at our own event at Hooters, we could easily supplant his event.
I propose we make this an "open" muscle car night at Hooters with two classes to start with. We would award a trophy for best Mustang and for best F-body. Depending on attendance, move up from there... maybe a separate class for Camaros and Firebirds, older / newer cars, etc. It all depends on how big it gets.
I'd be willing to take care of this, even though I stepped down from the council... lemme know what you guys think.
you are not council so you cant do anything
seriously though I dont really care about the trophies as much as getting our club to have a once a month meeting somewhere that we can eat drink and chill by the cars and shit. The trophy thing would be cool as well
Trophies are the key. Without them, it'll just be a bunch of us meeting up, which will be pointless.

I will be there with the old car. I just got thru dusting and cleaning it up before I brought it out of the barn. So I hope it will not be to bad for all y'all "newer" car type people. It's probably older than most of y'all.
