Anybody ever use this stuff before and if so how well did it work out for you? I am having high counts of knock in the lower rpms and could be carbon build up. I heard MCCC works well too. Any input would help, thanks.

It works pretty good, but BG products are the best. Hard to find, though.

holy shit robert--where ya been? there is a gas additive for 2 stroke engines called yamaha ring free for carbon build up in cylinders and rings. my buddy at the boat shop used and swears it worked on his truck, but you have to change your spark plugs after doing the shock treatment. give it a try if nothing else works.--lemme know if you need some.

I've used Sea Foam to clean my intake valves by disconnecting the brake booster hose and letting the vaccum suck in the liquid. Nice little smoke show, but it cleaned the inside of my plenum like no-one's business.

Sea Foam is also a great fuel additive/detergant. I know that lots of people have had great results using it as an engine flush by adding a can to the oil about 100 miles before your oil change. I tried that too and it worked great, but that was before I bought the VR-4... not sure how safe the stuff would be on turbos.

Seafoam is the best top end cleaner i've ever used. NAPA sells it, just make sure you get the top end cleaner, all the cans look similar.

All you hafta do is get the car warm, disconnect a vacuum line and stick it in the can. Let it suck in atleast 1/3 of the can (you'll need to modulate the throttle to keep it running) and then let it stall out. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes then start it up and watch the smoke show. Your neighbors will love you ;) .
