View Full Version : Post your best gas prices!
OK, we did this a little while ago and it was good info for everyone. Post with the best gas prices you've seen in town.
I just ran the car out Tennessee and saw that they are selling Premium for $1.57/gal at the Flying J at I-10 and Hwy. 90. Anyone seen better?

Why is GA so much cheaper than FLA. I can literally go 5 miles up the road from my house and save $.25 a gallon

I've got some for free.... damn chinese foodhttp://community.the-underdogs.org/smiley/prank/fart.gif
I think GA prices are low because they have a deregulated market coupled with low or non-existent gas/import taxes... not sure.

I believe it had something to do with state taxes. My parents live in Atlanta
and my dad told me one time, but I forgot.
I think the taxes have been raised though. That's why gas used to be way
cheaper in GA, now it's only a little cheaper.
I have free gas. Too much of it actually

braselton, GA ( Road Atlanta)

ga. has state income tax, Fl does not have it, so they make up for it on gas, and also cause of all the turiost's we have

Watch that Georgia gas. Alot of my customers use it, and the ones that do almost always have ping or spark knock. Also, I have seen georgia gas stop up fuel filters faster. If you get gas in Georgia, change your fuel filter every 10,000 miles.

Not talking drastic, dont ever use Georgia gas. It just does not seem to be as clean as others. This is based on what I have seen in the life of fuel filters and fuel pumps in my customers vehicles. If I used it all the time, then I would change my fuel filter every 10,000.
