Good stuff, guys. I'll definately do that if I ever get an f-body in the shop that needs a pump. Now get a piece of sheet metal and cover that hole.

:-o that is a import mod there ya got lol. never seen anyone go about it that way to change a pump. dunno why they never figured that out form the factory . good job . :tu:

It's not that hard to drop the tank...... on the 3rd gen F-body you can't do that.... steel lines run all the way down the side of the tank.
Get that hole sealed up tight...... an exhaust leak might kill ya!!!!

In a driveway, its not the easiest thing to drop the rear, exhaust that was welded up, and then the tank. This was a lot easier to do. He got a sheet of metal that we cut to fit and RTV'd and held it in place with screws.

Todd, if you need the measurements, let me know. Theyre perfect. :tu:
