I know there are a couple of you on here so i was wondering if any of you knew for sure that Kelly Grade (ie the 'old' hole) will be Oct 24th?
I keep hearing that it will be the 24th for sure and then ive heard theyve moved it up a week?
any clue?
thanks

Hey boss,
I just bought an 86 Chevy 4x4....it needs a set of gears bad. They did all the lift 4", went with 35 Thunder chickens, 350 and no gears. They couldn't figure out why it used so much fuel. Looks like it has a set of 3.08 gears and a four speed w/ OD. Just in case you got anything laying around. This is a daily driver so nothing huge....yet.
Kewl, glad u posted it. I forgot about it coming up. I don't have anything to bog, but I love watchin some of those people out there get stuck. And also what some of them build :)

the guy who had the jacked up bicycle last time was the coolest fucking thing ive ever seen!!
There are some pretty..uhm...redneck "things" people bog out there but there are also some bad ass trucks out there. Some of those guys are putting close to 800hp on the ground out of n/a engines!
XS- if you tranny has an OD it is more than likely a 700r4...take it out and throw it away now. You said it is going to be a daily driver so the od will be nice but they will not hold up like a T400. If you plan on that thing seeing anything off road that tranny will not hold up.
..i just gave away my 10 bolts that had 3.42's in them. Sorry, i'll be pulling my 12bolt out soon but the rear yoke bearing is shot to hell (perry owned me back in june haha) It has 4.56's w/ open dif. That is all i really got for ya :(
I used to bog with the same set up 35's and 3.07 with a 350. My poor engine would load up so bad it would flood out in the middle of the pits. That was just embarrasing. :joystick:
But hopefully i will have my junk back together in time..i will have ZERO test time so i could blow up right off the trailor ..hm? Anybody got a vid recorder ha!

It is a 2.5 ton, red and silver dodge. The guys name is Brian Gur. He built the frame and suspension and Kevins built the 468 BBC for it. ..and yes..it is BAD ASS!!
but it was NOT in any magazine, we asked him about it and he said nope. There is a kick ass 2.5 ton blue chevy that comes out there sometimes that was in some 4x4 mag.
that bicycle is stil lthe coolest thing out there...i love the fact he has speakers for fenders
I'll try to find a pic of that thing.
i'll be down there in the back corner with some of the walkula crew
keep and eye out for me:

there are 2 different dodges with chevy engine built in them, one from Orlando and one from around Tally or somewhere close. the one from orlando caught on fire 2 years ago in orlando. he had a little over 1200 on the bottle with that truck.

My room mates are from Carabelle. My room mate Mike has a '91 Toyota pickup with 38's and big ol' lift. It's pretty cool, but I told him he needs an LS1 in it :D

The red dodge was in a mag., and it is badass. The guy that built it was named gene, he used it to do truck pull's in lakeland. I'm pretty sure he sold it now, i heard he got sick and sold it.
