i didnt reach my goal due to mushy shifts and crappy 60fts, BUT i did run--
RT - 0.080
60' - 2.032
330 - 5.535
1/8 - 8.457 @ 84.53
1000 - 10.969
1/4 13.090 @ 107.49

Nice MPH. Get some sticky tires and a tune to firm up the shift points and you'll be well into the 12's.

Congrats Dan!
Nice to see you got a damn good time despite your tranny woes.
My best run of the night was my last:
60' - 2.031
330 - 5.695
1/8 - 8.776
MPH - 79.17
1000 - 11.412
1/4 - 13.676
MPH - 98.93
Still can't figure out why my MPH dropped so low for that run. All the other runs after a cool down were over 101 with a best of 101.57
That DP was definately worth it. Now I have to put on those 1.8's and see what it'll do.

well i didn't have that good of time since i got lost going there and made it late. my 60' totally blows donkey dicks-2.1 to 2.3:-| . the left lane totally sucked for traction. the only thing i felt good about last night was cutting a perfect r/t-.000 on my last run 8) which i ended up running a 13.5 :jess:
my best for the night was my first run
r/t .582--snoozin again
60' 2.129
330 5.777
1/8 8.715 @83.87
1000 11.217
1/4 13.328 @ 107.18
i think i'm gonna stick to street racing. :???:

here's a few pics
Bleh. I only made one real pass, my first of the night, which resulted in a new best. I'm rather upset because it was only going to get better.
60' - 1.966
1/8 - 8.069
MPH - 89.66
1/4 - 12.340
MPH - 115.50
Second pass, 3rd gear died. It won't go into 3rd at all 99% of the time now... if I clutch in, force it into 3rd, and then release the clutch, it grinds and spits it out. If I try to slam 3rd, it just grinds. It's doing it in 4th too, but not as bad. I'm praying it's a clutch / hydraulics issue, because I really don't want to spend the money on a built T56 just yet.

12.3 with stock heads = damn fast, nice :tu:
and damn near a 12 with a GTP? That's damn fast too :tu:
remind me not to run you guys.... yet 8)
Sounds like Jon has the same tranny issues I've got, but I'm positive mine aren't clutch related :(

lol, i dont know what happen to 2 mph there. but your car is alot faster than it 'should' be! I was trapping at 101 with 13.40s with the intercooler, 2.8, 3" exhaust (no dp), DHP, CAI, and 1.9 60fts, and 270 whp.
If you would have seen that extra 2 mph, you probably could have seen a 13.40 with a little better 60ft.

I doubt this is it, but check the stops on your shifter just to be safe. You never know!
Nice runs everyone.

Friend of mine's stops came loose/off on his T56 somehow, and he literally shifted THROUGH the T56 case. 1000 miles before his warranty was out.
Result?
Brand new T56. Free of charge.

Congrats on the times everyone :bryant: . Damn Dan, I was pulling for you to get that 12, but thats close. Is your tranny going? Let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Slow ET

T56 has internal stops, most people run their shifter w/o the screws

Yeah, Dan left alot of people with some funny looks on their faces. :jaw:
As for me, nothing you don't already know about. Just got the 3.4", FWI, 160* stat, DHP and I finally got the 3" DP done. I was quite happy with the car last night, just was weird to lose 2MPH on my best ET run.
