31-21 starting the fourth quarter. Miami inside the 10 yard line of L'ville.

Canes can suck me. You and every other loser who roots for them, yet will NEVER attend that school, nor do they have any reason to root for them other than to be a fucking leach can suck me.
Can ya tell I hate them?

I grew up in Miami and was raised a Cane fan, I've been going to games in the Orange Bowl and at Mark Light since I was 5, and I went to baseball camp at the Light as well. I have every right to root for them, so you can suck my balls.
Touchdown Miami.

I grew up in Miami, my dad went to UM for grad school (and still saw no reason to root for them) and my sister got her Architecture degree there. I've been going to games at the Orange Bowl (FSU games) and at Mark Light stadium since 1979, and attended Ron Fraser's baseball camp too. And I have every right to hate them and call you a leach for rooting for them, so you can nibble my nuts.
I disagree, you have no right to call me anything. Cheer for whoever you want, but leave your misplaced hate out of it.
I carry my hate for the University of Miami's football team in my pocket. I hate them more than anything else in the world, and will continue to voice my displeasure for both team and their so-called fans (who just happened to completely evaporate when they sucked from '95-'98 as evidenced by their home attendance during that period). They are the luckiest team in the history of sport, and I hate them.
Cocky pieces of shit. Congratulations on beating Louisville.

In all seriousness, while that game probably shouldn't have been that close, Louisville is a darn good football team. They have the best offense Miami has seen all year, and we're lucky to get out with the W... but a win is a win.

Just another fine exaple of them having to make up ground and pulling it out of their ass at the last minute.

My brother-in-law is the punter for Louisville, (Brent Moody, he graduated from Lincoln). I could have killed him last night. When he made that punt that they returned for a touchdown, he sat his ass down and tried to trip the guy.

I'm with Jon on this one. I also grew up in Miami and I went to school, (for a year), at UoF. As long a you put a W up, it don't really matter. The Canes showed some toughness coming back from a 14 point deficit in the second half. Go Canes.

Well, yes, I am Miss Angsty McAngst! :boobies:
Seriously, I'm sorry I said nasty things to you, Jon. It's not really aimed at you so much as it is at the UM football team and most of the clowns that wear their gear and have neither an association with the university nor aspirations towards higher education in general. The thing that bugs me the most is that the Hurricanes always seem to come back when they underachieve for the majority of the game, and then have the gall to strut around both during and long after the game putting it in the face of others. Great teams coached with a good sense of sportsmanship don't do this, and once again at the end of game the Hurricanes players were putting it in the face of the other team. It's insulting, and the fact that neither their players nor their fans care is yet another display of the poor sportsmanship I've seen countless times from them. I vowed several years ago never to attend another Miami game because if I did, I'd end up killing somebody for just such displays, and quite frankly I don't like the idea of prison.
Their players need to recognize that when they get their asses kicked for 45 minutes and still win, they need to shut the fuck up, be thankful they got a win, and go back and work on whatever it was that kept them from dominating the game while they had so much talent on both sides of the ball.

I think it was disgraceful that when the Louisville coaches were pushing their players back towards the sideline, the Miami players were following them until the Miami coaching staff came in and started shoving them back.
Woo hoo! We pulled another game close game out of our ass, lets taunt the team that dealt with us handily for an entire half and met us almost score for score in the second half.

exactly, JD.
My hatred for Miami hit rock bottom in 99-00 after the Miami fans were fucking GONE for 5 years, then show up as they got good again. Horrible fucking bandwagon fans and no one goes to that school.

That pretty much sums up me and Florida State, lol. Never been there, never gonna go, but have loved them forever when noone else in this area does(NC). Not family, not friends, just me and I have no idea why....But Burt-fukin'-Reynolds played there so that's good enough for me! :headbang:

I can see why Jon and Mark would be UM fans, those are all good reasons, but it's all the others that jumped on the bandwagon after they got off probation that piss me off as well! They are without a doubt my most hated team in all of sports, they just jumped over the Gators and the Yankees...congratulations! The worst thing is is I work with the cockiest UM fan in the world, which makes me hate them that much more. DAMN!

Sorry but I completely disagree. I dont give a flying fuck where you grow up and what baseball camp you go to. When you ATTEND FSU albeit undergrad or grad/law you should root for your own school and part of that allegiance means hating our cocky lucky counterparts. A win is a win in reality but I still cannot stand how lucky those fuckers are. Berlin sucks ass for 3 quarters and then ALWAYS pulls a 2min show out of his ass.
Am I the only one that noticed after almost every Louisville TD there was a celebration penalty whereas the Canes (aka kings of celebration) NEVER got the same penalty?
On a final note, yes they are lucky. Remember that dropped ball that SHOULD have been an INT as it hit the defender in his chest but he just dropped it? It should have been caught and that would have sealed the game. How many times out of 100 trys do you think that ball is dropped? Maybe a handful of times. That just goes to show that they get the biggest breaks in the game.
Had it been us, you know the defender would have caught it and the game would have been over.
Yes, America is a free country and anyone can root for anyone but just bc you can doesnt mean you should.
