Anything by Big & Rich, there whole album is awesome (you guys might know there song Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy). Greatest band to hit country in a while. That new Papa Roach song, Getting Away with Murder. And I usually dont care for rap but that Fabulous song, Breathe is pretty good.

Wow, I'm getting friggin' old... I only knew like two of the bands listed here and one of them was Breaking Benjamin (CD is AWESOME by the way!), I think Linkin Park was the other.

3. Creed
4. Hoobastank
5. Motley Crue
6. Megadeth
7. Poison
8. Billy Idol

As for Rap, I kick it old school style...

1. 3 Times Dope
2. Warren G
3. D-Nice
4. Heavy D
5. I think I still have my N.W.A. and 2 Live Crew cassettes... lol

Then I gotta play country when the wifey is in the car...

Agreed... Scott Stapp is/was a tool. Hoobastank sounds decent on a CD, but obviously have NO talent after hearing them live.

Don't worry, Jason.. I can feel your pain about being "old". I was digging through some boxes in the garage yesterday and found a "Young MC" cassette.

My brother used to hang out with the guys from Creed when they did nothing but play Floyd's. He says the lead singer was a dick back then too, and the rest of the band was in it for nothing more than free beer.

He was my sisters manager at Remington in the Governors Square Mall back in the day and she had nothing but nice things to say about him when they were trying to make it. But, then people get famous and forget your name... that's just how it goes. They sure did have a few hits for them to suck so bad. I liked them.

They did have a few really good songs on their first album. I guess the main problem that I have with them is that I'm not into "pop" music. After some recognition, their sound changed. They wanted to keep the "rock" image, but they were playing to "pop" crowds. How many 13, 14, and 15 year old girls were there screaming at their concerts... just like a boy band. That's not what I'm into, even though it would have been a great place for Chase to pick up some chicks. They also sold out Tallahassee when they claimed to be from Orlando, the "new" Mecca of music.
