well i ordered a spec stg 2 today
now i need to know if i should fork over another
300 for an aluminum flywheel or should i get
billet steel? i heard that aluminum ones make it
harder to launch but they give some extra rwhp
b/c of the weight savings

the aluminum can be a little tricky for daily drving like leaving from lights and shit, plus itll kill your 60'. youll end up bogging of the line, much better for road racing (and dyno numbers)

well, the aluminum will be less of a shock on the drivetrain when you dump the clutch on a launch....
but, the aluminum flywheel will cause the rpm's to go up and down much quicker, which could be a pain driving on the street

I read a really good write up on the aluminum flywheel, and believe it or not they were consistantly quicker at the track by about a .10th or so. The only down fall is like matt said...
