I've been trying to sell this car since August. Only have had 1 phone call and 1 e-mail about it. NOW, that I've won an event. Got the car hauling ass. I got a e-mail and a phone call today. From people wanting to buy it. Guy wants to look at it this weekend. And I was just about to say no to selling it.

So, should I sell it or keep it??

ARGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

What happens if you sell it?

If it means the 88 will be up and running than you should sell it.

The 02 does have a little to do with y the 88 isnt running. $$ and motivation. I'm having fun with the 02 and not having to do shit but drive it. But the 88 was gonna get going soon anyway. Cause I need to move it for some I have to do at the house.

well, have you talked to Mr. Monero again about future FFW events??

i don't know man, it's a sweet car and to sell it now would be sad.

but like T said, what are the plans "if" you sell the car? would you race the 88?

Sounds like you're starting to like the car. :) What are you going to be driving on a daily basis? Make yourself happy. If you've got an alternative daily driver that's acceptable on that basis, sell the '02. Sounds to me like the quicker the '02 gets, the more you're liking it. I'd have a hard time letting go of a car that rides like that one that you can get a class win with. What does Deb think? I'll bet she likes the comfort factor!

There's something to be said for creature comforts, especially in Tallahassee when it's hot. Ya got another car that blows cold air? :o

Keep it and dominate SS. Then when the 88 is ready, dominate two classes.

I have a '95 Explorer and '91 Grand Marquis to drive on a daily basis. So a daily driver is not an issue.

Plus I was planing on getting a '04 F-150 at the end of the year.

Sell it before you get any more attached. I am thinking 05 stang or 04 mach1.

haha, y'all are missing the point here. I'm not selling it so I can buy another mustang. IF I buy anything else it will be a '04 F-150 later this year.

Good choice. I see they might be coming out with a yellow color on the 04's. It is driving my old lady crazy.

SELL SELL SELL

You won a FFW event with it... ride the popularity, hype it up, and make a profit!

Jon MIGHT have an alterior motive in his decision. :?

I would take that stang over a F150 anyday, especially one thats a BEAST. I mean you have the explorer to haul stuff and whatever..what reasons do u have for wanting the F150?

A explorer won't tow a car like I want too. (It can, but NO thanks)

get a diesel super-duty! Throw a chip, nitrous, boost controller, and propane injection on that mofo.

Then you can tow all you want! and run just as fast as your mustang. with a diesel! (thatll last 400,000 miles, mind you)

Ya, a superduty is what I really want. The only thing stopin that is the $10K higher price tag (I could live with that) and the fact of finding gas stations with diesel.

just throw a 55 gallon drum of off-road diesel in the back!!

Well, it seems as though you want to race the 02, and thats why you are keeping it, or maybe the fun factor. The question you have to ask yourself is whether you want "two racecars". I mean you have 2 other daily drivers, so you dont have to drive the 02 if you dont feel like it. What if you were to sell both the other non-mustang cars. Would you be able to pay off the 02? Or get close enough, to where you can get the F150 come fall? I think the financial factor would play a big part for me.

Can't you even still do shorties and gears on the 02?

Now, I want to race it. And thinking about keeping it. 2 racecars are not an issue. Since the 88 is a play toy period, there is not a class I can race it in (don't have the $$ to make it competitive in anything). And the 02 really doesn't require a lot of $$ except for the payment.

Selling the Explorer and Grand Marquis would not come close to payin off the 02. Since I owe on the Explorer also.

I think I am gonna sell the 02, If someone really wants it. Otherwise I will keep it and keep racing S/S until its time for the F-150.
