There is a few guy's on here that have heard my car...... Question....
Do you think I'll get pulled over for being too loud????
If you have not heard my car..... It's pretty loud..... Do they pull people over for loud exhaust here in Tallahassee???
I know there's some LEO's on here..... Are there any laws on exhaust noise levels???

I think there was a whole thread a long time ago about that and it states like "any modifications done to ur stock exhaust above a certain decibal" or some shit they can but how many cops are actually gonna do that i dont think many.

My car is pretty loud and I've never had a problem. I've pulled up to a couple cops at red lights and drove right by and they never follow me or anything; live on a military base now and even here they dont mess with me, so as long as you arent running wide open headers or something I dont think youd have a problem.

As long as your over 30 they dont seem to bother you. I've seen a lot of "older" guys do some crazy stuff in their cars and the cop just looks the other way. As long as your not doing anything stupid like burning out and stuff I doubt they will bother you.

just try and keep it under 4 grand when your sitting next to a cop at a redlight

if you do get pulled over tell them that it uis stock. i dont think that cops, in general, are all that car savey. if that dosnt work, how about those header insert muffler things. i dont know if you have enough space befroe your bends for them, but that might be a option.
side note. i seen to black guys last weekend driving their 87ish monte carloish car and a orange mustang vert, both with open headers. i guess it was a FAMU homecoming thing. i wonder if they got tickets? lol.

NOBODY would belive my exhaust is stock!!!
The Hooker Header inserts limit cars to around 250hp.... They're that restrictive!! I'm NOT going to give-up that much power if I don' have to!!
The Jeg's Collector inserts DO NOT work on a 4" exhaust, a couple people have offered to give me ones for free because they don't work!!

Not gonna be much that you can do with that set-up, except maybe try to keep your foot out of it when cops are near. That is hit or miss.

Corvettes also came with those side pipes that had glass packs or resonators built in. They had that chrome mesh heat shield covering. Would those work on your set-up? Only other thing I can think of would be to drop your pipe size to 3" or maybe even 2.5" after the collector.

Funny, when I got Mr 316.191 a few months back, I had an open cutout RIGHT AT THE END of the Y-pipe. Those of you who've heard it know how fucking loud that is. Cop said he could care less how loud my car was. -shrug- Guess its just luck. I havent had any real problems in Tally or ATL.... when it runs.... yet....
