wow only reading a little bit of his post made me feel dumb ... but if he had the system set up right he wouldnt need CO2 to make his shit look good... i mean if you had the purge hooked up right then it would look sweet.....

Damn, I want one. Hook up my fire extinguisher to a purge valve and mult-colored LED's. That alone would get me another two tenths in the quarter. :roll:
Never ceases to amaze me. All you have to do is watch a couple of Nopi shows to see whats up. "Biff you have 100k in paint, Stereo, Video Games and DVD systems, now what modifications have you done to your engine?" "Uhm, well Bob that comes in phase two. Right now I have a cold air intake, 300lbs of chrome and a couple of NOS stickers, but this 1.6 liter really flys!"
I just don't get it and never will.

I dont see what the big fuss is about. He said he wanted to use it for car shows. Some people arent all about going fast, some like to do car shows. Just because you arent into it doesnt make them stupid. If you think so, then you are ignorant as hell.

whats to get? the guy has a showcar. NOT G O but rather S H O W .
that is like saying " i just dont understand why the latin comunity dosnt drag race their Impallas with the hydro suspension". that isnt their passion.
granted its a race part that he wants people to have but its just for show. just like they have cotton and mirrors under their cars. its a show car.
people have a rare old muscle car they show. some of the engines dont run or they never crank them up. i just dont understand them but why do i have to who am i ???
maybe everyone that flamed this guy feels alot better now. it just made them feel better about there own short comings. maybe i just will never understand these people. :shrug:

Golly. Thanks for your revealing insight. You're right I read that post and immediately I felt inadequate. Maybe you might understand more if you read the title of this board, Tallahassee Musclecar, not Tallahassee Show Car. To me it's all about the honesty of your project. I have no problem with people putting body kits on their car, video systems etc, but I have to wonder what does having a fake "purge" system have to do with a show car. Just be honest about your presentation, don't pretend to be something you're not.
Oh and by the way, Go fuck yourself.

it is kind of wrong to have a purge kit to just pretend you have nitrous when you really just have a purge for show... if you had a show car that had a nitrous system on it that was fast, I would not care...
some people would say that driving in a straight line for a 1/4 mile is stupid.
some people would say that driving around in a circle is stupid.
some people would say modifing a factory car is stupid, why not just build a funny car.
some people would say playing video games is stupid.
Does it mean you are stupid for doing any of these things? No. Its all a matter of perspective.

I was saying having a fake purge kit seems wrong...
I am not in to show cars, but it seems if I was in a show with my car, and I spent the time and money to have a nice car and installed a cool nitrous kit on it with a purge so that I have a nice show car with a cool nitrous kit... that I would be offended and upset if the guy next to me had a fake kit to make his car seem as nice as mine in the show... his would be gay...
