hey GT guys, was or is your stock clutch stiff? and pretty grabby? jsut curious cause it feels pretty stiff for stock. also i noticed that their is no resevoir for clutch fluid, i take it these are cable???

yup, its cable. And Debbie says the 02's clutch is stiff. I don't think its that bad myself. Not really "grabby" to me... :)

It does have a clutch cable so its a TOTALLY different feel than a hydraulic clutch. A lot easier to drive too.

i've always heard that clutches on mustangs usually don't engage until the pedal is pressed most of the way if not all the way down. is it true and is it related to it being cable fed?

well, mine is in the middle, but you can feel it, i love it. the camaro kinda had a dead clutch, but it was hydralic.. but i can bark 3rd. is that normal in the GT...?

My clutch is fully disengaged with the pedal half way down. On my car, there is no need to go all the way to the floor.

The Mustang that I drove once with a friend went about half-way down but you couldn't really feel it grab. Now the Altima, you can feel it engaging and disengaging and sometimes it spooks me. I personally like feeling the pedal do that because you know when you can shift and when not to.
